2.008 - Fro-Yo!

In this course, I worked with 5 classmates to design, manufacture and assemble 50 yo-yos from scratch, using techniques for designing for mass production we learned in class.

I was responsible for the chocolate sauce component. I created the CAD for the molds, the CAM for machining them out of aluminum, and completed the production run of over 120 pieces on the injection molder to account for randomness in production cycles.  This was all completed while ensuring the chocolate could be assembled with the appropriate fit on the other components.
